Zebras In Motion was founded to increase awareness for the rare disease, Amyloidosis. The Amyloidosis Foundation uses the Zebra as their symbol, because in the medical world doctors aren’t trained to look for zebras first – the rare cases; instead they focus on the horses – the obvious. Once the obvious is ruled out, if you are lucky you may find a few doctors who are experienced and can start to look for the rare diseases. We host an annal 5k walk, run or bike 100 miles over 30 days.
