Hi Central Florida!

I am LANDI~LOU - a RARE NATIVE of Orlando, Florida. I attended Orange County Public Schools and graduated from West Orange High... Matriculated to Florida A&M University in Tallahassee where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics in the School of Business & Industry (SBI). I also received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Services with an emphasis in Public Service Leadership.

I absolutely love everything I do (which is a lot! lol), and I am so grateful for the many hats I have been graced to wear. Most importantly, I am a Wife and Mother of three beautiful children (two daughters and one son) and I'm also a brand new GLAMMA (Granddaughter going on 2 yrs old and one Granddaughter on the way) :)

Current Situation:

I have been an Associate Professor for over 20 years. I have been in Financial Services (Licensed Insurance Broker) for well over 20 years as well. I am a former Employee Benefits Specialist and still enjoy helping small to medium size businesses attain health and financial benefits. It is my goal to help as many people as possible protect their future. My husband, Ronald and I own a Mental Health Agency which includes, but is not limited, to Personal Support and Companion Staffing as well as an Adult Day Training Facility and Group Home for persons with Disabilities. I also head a Nonprofit designed to empower women through assistance with Domestic Abuse, Human Trafficking, Homelessness, and Post-incarceration. The nonprofit is funded by individual donors and my productions company, Landi-Lou Productions. Landi-Lou Productions produces main stage productions as well as community and education programs, such as the "Back-Stage" After School Enrichment program for at-risk youth interested in working in the background of Theater and Film.

Formal Experience:

During my last year of my bachelor's degree, I interned at Division of Corporations/Department of State in Tallahassee, FL was hired full time immediately after graduation. Therefore, I have extensive knowledge in starting companies (via Corporation, LLC, Sole Proprietorship, Nonprofit, 501c3, etc.).

I worked in Higher Education at Pearson Online Learning Services for 13 years where I gained extensive knowledge in integrating distance learning into our country's major Universities, such as University of Florida, Arizona State University, Boston University, University of San Francisco and many more.

My Business background has enabled me to set up many businesses and have experience with the processes required to structure a company.

After completing my Doctorate, I was selected to be the Executive VP of a start up Graduate University with Global Intensives. There, I was able to set up the full distance learning logistics, attain permanent licensure as well as accreditation. My position as Executive Vice President of an Online University afforded me the budgeting experience, accreditation, and leadership opportunities required to lead a corporation and professionals successfully.

Faith and The Arts:

I am a motivational speaker, a Minister, and Worship Leader. Because of my love for the Arts (acting, singing, dancing), since the age of five, I have always served in that capacity in some way form or fashion; either in church, a talent agency, or community endeavor. As a result, I was cast in a National Touring Gospel Stage Play and privileged to travel all over the country while singing and acting for several years. Now, with my Productions company, I am filled with joy as I afford the others the opportunity to do so. As an Author, Playwright, Producer, and Director, I am slated to launch new projects soon, including the Landi-Lou Talent Agency.

• As a writer and director I love to write comedies, because I believe in the power of laughter. But most importantly, there is always a message for everyone to leave with. Through all of my work and community initiatives, I like to share messages of hope, laughter, and faith.

I was raised in the Urban City areas of Orlando and was raised to believe that where you start does not determine how far you can go. I turned my dreams into reality… and now, my purpose is to help others do the same.

Fun-time with family, Teaching, Reading, Writing, Entertaining, Music, Dancing, Singing, Bowling, Playing a good game of Ms. Pac Man :), being on the water (jet skiing, fishing, or just cruising), shopping, and Traveling.
