Amy “Yarn Rambo” Stevens
Tuft it out!
Amy “Yarn Rambo” Stevens is a Kansas City fiber artist who believes creativity should be loud, colorful, and accessible to everyone. Her workshops are designed for real humans, not “professional artists,” which means beginners are absolutely welcome.
At Yarn Rambo events, you won’t just watch. You’ll make things. From tufting rugs to quirky seasonal crafts, collage, and mixed-media projects, every workshop is hands-on, social, and packed with creative energy. Expect good music, lots of color, and a relaxed environment where experimenting is encouraged and perfection is optional.
Most events take place at her studio inside the Bunker Center for the Arts in Kansas City’s East Crossroads Arts District, with occasional pop-ups and themed workshops throughout the year.
Feel free to bring your favorite drinks and snacks, grab a seat, bring a friend, and settle in for a creative night out. Seats are limited so everyone has space and guidance while making their project.
Warning: Side effects may include unexpected creativity, colorful hands, and the sudden urge to make more art.
