The Blackwater Preservation Society is a very energetic, imaginative 501(c)(3) organization focused and saving and promoting the small historic town of Blackwater. In addition to preserving many historic buildings, gardens, and other properties in Blackwater, the BPS has hosted countless community events. This includes the massively successful "Haunting at Wildcliff Wood" Halloween event, the annual Blackwater Progressive Dinner, an annual immersive, theatrical dinner that moves throughout downtown Blackwater, hundreds of performances at the West End Community Theatre, re-enactor events, multiple festivals, and much,much more. BPS is one of the most dynamic small town organizations in the Mid West. We love our town. We love to entertain. And we love to welcome visitors to our tiny, historic town.
