Every day, roughly 20 Veterans die by suicide and over 1,000 dogs are euthanized.

Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors is the leading nonprofit organization that provides trained Service Dogs to military Veterans nationwide suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and/or military sexual trauma — at no financial cost to the Veteran.

We Rescue the Dog. The Dog Rescues the Veteran. Beyond our dedication to serving Veterans, we go the extra mile by rescuing dogs and giving them a second chance and new purpose as life-changing Service Dogs. Our innovative, research-backed program enables both the Veteran and Service Dog to build an unbreakable bond that fosters mutual healing and recovery.
