The Exchange Club of Livingston, TN is a non-profit, 501(c)4 and holds the distinction of being the only club in America established for the purpose of operating a local child abuse prevention center. The Stephens Center is part of the nationwide network of Exchange Club Centers and receives annual support from the Exchange Club of Livingston through its various fundraising activities.

The Misson of the Exchange Club/Stephens Center is to prevent child abuse and neglect while promoting healthy, non-violent families through appropriate home visitations, parenting groups, and community education programs. The Stephens Center is licensed by the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services and provides services to children and parents in Clay, Cumberland, DeKalb, Jackson, Macon, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Smith, and White counties.
