Team Business delivers experiential leadership, entrepreneurship, and business education programs for high school students, universities, nonprofits, and organizations. For more than 20 years, its simulation-based approach has helped participants develop real-world skills in strategic thinking, communication, collaboration, leadership, and decision-making.

Andre van der Bergh is Co-Founder and Vice President of Programs for Team Business. With more than 25 years of international executive leadership experience, Andre has held senior leadership roles with major retail and consumer organizations across South Africa and the Middle East, specializing in operations, merchandising, logistics, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.

Andre has worked extensively with students, educators, workforce development organizations, nonprofits, and leadership programs to create engaging, hands-on business learning experiences that build confidence, critical thinking, teamwork, and entrepreneurial skills. In recognition of his contributions to student business education, he was named the 2026 California DECA Businessperson of the Year.

He is passionate about helping students bridge the gap between education and the real world by making business learning practical, interactive, and inspiring.
