Launched in 2019, the Center for Black Educator Development's (CBED’s) mission is to improve educational outcomes for all students, especially Black and Brown students, rebuilding the national Black teacher pipeline. Through signature teaching pathways, CBED is increasing the diversity of the teaching workforce to reflect the student population, ensuring everyone can reap the full benefits of a high-quality public education.
