Smile, California is the statewide Medi-Cal Dental outreach and education campaign helping Californians understand and use their dental benefits.

We host free community events, educational webinars, mobile dental clinics, community outreach, and partner activations across California to connect eligible Medi-Cal members with trusted oral health information and resources.

Smile, California’s objective is to:

• Increase awareness of Medi-Cal Dental benefits
• Encourage preventive dental visits
• Help families establish a dental home for ongoing care
• Support healthier smiles for children, families, and seniors

Medi-Cal Dental covers dental checkups twice a year for children (or more if needed) and once a year for adults age 21 and over.
