ImprovEd Arts
ImprovEd Arts creates story-driven experiences that spark connection, curiosity, and conversation across ages and life stages. Led by writer, director, and teaching artist Andee Kinzy, our work blends performance, audio storytelling, improvisation, and facilitated dialogue to bring people together around meaningful human themes.
Our programming includes listening clubs and screenings, theatre and Shakespeare workshops, improv-based social gatherings, and community-centered arts events that invite participation rather than perfection. Whether we’re exploring aging and end-of-life choices through Kicking the Bucket, celebrating women-led creative work through HOT: The Exhibit, or building confidence and joy through Shakespeare and improv, ImprovEd Arts believes art is a catalyst for empathy, reflection, and belonging.
What you can expect at an ImprovEd Arts event:
- Inclusive, welcoming environments (no prior experience required)
- Artist-led facilitation that centers curiosity over expertise
- Story as a starting point for conversation and connection
- Events that are social, thoughtful, and human — not classes or lectures
