Speakeasy CamJam was founded by Dennis Cox (saxophone) and Chris Eadon (piano), who have been organising jazz events in Cambridge since 2020. Our events take place at Newnham Croft Sports and Social Club, Hardwick Rd, Cambridge.

Speakeasy CamJam is a musician-led social enterprise, run for the love of the music. Our aim is to create a regular jazz night in Cambridge with the atmosphere, energy, and musical quality associated with venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, while remaining open, welcoming, and accessible.

We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for musicians of all levels, alongside showcasing the very best jazz talent in Cambridge. At the heart of Speakeasy CamJam is the belief that great music thrives where community, generosity, and high standards come together.
