Brea Brea from Memphis, Tennessee, she’s the proud mama of one son, DJ “Go DJ, that’s my DJ!”—and a poet, spoken word artist, modern-day orator, and youth mentor with a heart for the culture. She’s helped shape young minds through the Memphis Grizzlies, Hattiloo Theatre, Upward Light Community Cypher proving that poetry isn’t just art; it’s education, activism, and healing all rolled into one.

Ranked 30th among women poets worldwide, Brea Brea is a multi-slam champion who claimed her first national title at Lipstick Wars in Louisville, Kentucky, in October 2024. She travels the country using her words to inspire, uplift, and heal, one poem at a time.
