Crank It Up a Naach harnesses the transformative power of dance to advocate for gender equity, uplift individuals, and build community within the South Asian diaspora. We create and host cultural events and dance workshops that:

- celebrate the joy of naach while fostering critical discussion and providing resources related to gender equity, mental and physical health, and self-empowerment

- create a safe space for individuals to be vulnerable, come closer to who they are, break free from societal constraints and gender norms, and unite to champion meaningful change in the community

- raise critical funds for non-profit organizations in the city who have a primary focus towards gender equity

Our mission is to bring like-minded individuals together and ultimately create a vibrant, inclusive community of movers and dreamers who uplift one another and dare to crank it up a naach — in every sense.
