Folkjoy is a dance company started by cousins, Ellen Lewis & Sofia Zaragoza, with a passion for music, dance, and children. Their desire to help kids feel seen and known while learning to move their bodies and appreciate their culture is what sparked Folkjoy Dance Company to be born.

Ellen was taught by her sister and performed for the City of Pasadena and has taught for over 20 years.

Sofia is newer to the teaching realm but is building her skillset through her love of children, dance, and music.

The joy filled music and colorful skirts make this dance company come to life.
