The Historical Society of Dauphin County is 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of local history and the education of the public. Founded in 1869 and based in Harrisburg, we are among the oldest historical societies in Pennsylvania. Our mission is to preserve and promote our history and heritage. As part of that mission, we are the owners and caretakers of the National Historic Landmark John Harris-Simon Cameron mansion.
