Leather Conservation Centre
Founded in 1978, the Leather Conservation Centre exists to protect the heritage of leather, one object, skill and story at a time. From hands on conservation and cutting edge research to hands on learning, we champion the craft and science that keeps the history of leathercraft alive.
We work with heritage experts and traditional makers to safeguard heritage craft skills at risk of extinction. Our workshops open these traditional skills up to everyone, whatever your age or experience, giving you the chance to learn directly from the people keeping these rare heritage craft skills alive.
