Southern Nevada Gem & Mineral Society was formed to help educate and teach adults and children about Nevada geology. We are a non-profit organization and hold fund raising events twice a year. Our Jamboree show is held in conjunction with the Spring Jamboree celebration loacted in Boulder Cty, NV. It occurs on the 1st weekend of May annually and has been a fun, family show for many years. Our Viva Las Vegas Rocks! show is held in the 1st full 3 day weekend in November at the Santa Fe casino in Las Vegas, NV. With over 50 vendors, this is a great way to get a jump on holiday shopping. Both shows offer door prizes, silent auctions, educational seminars, and on-hands lapidary displays. You'll find rocks, gems, crystals, minerals, and of course, lots of jewelry. Come join us!
