Women of Hope SMC

Women of Hope SMC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting, empowering, and uplifting women and children in need through resources, mentorship, advocacy, education, and a safe community of support.

Founded in 2025, Women of Hope SMC was created with the belief that no woman or young girl should have to navigate life’s most difficult challenges alone. Our organization serves women and families throughout Metro Detroit and surrounding communities, with programs designed to provide both immediate assistance and long-term empowerment

Our work is centered around three core areas:

Breast Cancer Support** – Providing encouragement, resources, advocacy, and financial assistance to women navigating breast cancer treatment and recovery. We strive to help lessen the financial and emotional burden so women can focus on their health, healing, and families.

Domestic Relief & Empowerment – Supporting women experiencing domestic violence or significant life hardships by connecting them with emergency resources, safe housing assistance, essential needs, employment opportunities, community services, and pathways toward independence and stability.

Monarchs Rising Mentoring Program– Empowering girls in grades 4–12 through mentorship, leadership development, etiquette, public speaking, financial literacy, career and business readiness, educational exposure, and preparation for life beyond high school. Monarchs Rising encourages young women to recognize their value, discover their voice, and confidently grow into the women they are destined to become.

Women of Hope SMC also brings communities together through educational programs, wellness initiatives, fundraising events, partnerships, and outreach efforts that promote awareness, connection, healing, and hope.

At the heart of our organization is a simple commitment: to meet women and girls where they are, walk alongside them through life’s challenges, and provide the tools, relationships, and opportunities they need to move forward.
