BLAQ Equity exists so that we Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual/aromantic, and other sexual and gender expansive(LGBTQIA+) people in Baltimore have the power, resources, and community support to shape our futures on our terms. We also uplift and honor same-gender loving(SGL) identities — a term rooted in Black culture and created by and for Black people to affirm our unique experiences of love, identity, and connection.

We deserve more than survival. We deserve to joyfully thrive — together.
