With over 20 years of experience in television, Carolyn’s superpower is simplifying the complex. She is known for teaching the game in a way that is easy to understand, and appealing to all types and ages of learners.

Her goal as your mahjong instructor is to guide students of all ages toward becoming lifelong players who love the game and also find joy in the community Mahj brings.

Carolyn is an ambassador of The Mahjong Line, a 100% female-owned company. She teaches the game and also allows people to see the beautiful tile art, colors, and products in person (as TML is direct-to-consumer). After trying to learn the game for over 2 years, when she played with TML tiles, her understanding clicked and she’s been playing ever since.
