Vee Vargas is the founder of Be Here — a community-rooted salon in Oakland — and Be Infinite, a nonprofit created to expand mentorship, mindset, and visibility for BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ creatives. Together, they reflect her mission to build spaces where beauty, equity, and leadership coexist.

She believes in building with intention — creating spaces where people of all identities feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

She is a salon owner, educator, and Latina mentor with over 12 years of experience in the beauty and creative industries. Based in Oakland, CA with roots in Southern California, Vee creates spaces for BIPOC & LGBTQIA2S+ creatives to grow with confidence, community, and purpose.

Through her mentoring Vee has helped stylists, students, and entrepreneurs show up online with content confidence that lasts. She’s led sold-out events, partnered with SalonCentric, and spoken on panels including Modern Salon Independent Bootcamp— always with a focus on equity, joy, and power.

These experiences are more than just classes — they’re a call to expansion.
