We are a dedicated HG, DC/Maryland/Virginia Community Resilience Unit (CRU) led by Kareem, a retired Army veteran with over 26 years of service, and Teiko, a certified medical first responder. Together, we host transformative 1- to 2-day Higher Ground and CRU Therapeutic events across the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia) and Southern Virginia.

Our events are designed to foster camaraderie, healing, and personal growth through engaging outdoor/indoor activities. Participants can enjoy a diverse array of experiences, including golfing, surfing, skiing, fishing, parasurfing, rock climbing, paintball, bowling and much more. Each event is tailored to create memorable moments, offering participants a chance to connect while promoting physical and mental well-being.
