THE OTHER’S is a translation and production project dedicated to amplifying voices from outside the U.S.—particularly stories labeled as immigrant, foreign, or “other.” Founded by Cuban director and translator Arnaldo Galbán, the project focuses on presenting bold, socially engaged plays in English translation. We create space for immigrant stories to take center stage—not as metaphor or background, but as complex, human, and urgent. Our events include public readings, talkbacks, and collaborations that invite audiences to listen deeply, feel fully, and recognize themselves in someone else’s story.
