Resilient Cities Catalyst (RCC) accelerates action and builds capacity within communities, cities and regions, working toward more resilient people, places and systems.

Our mission is to catalyze lasting change in cities and communities to solve the most pressing challenges of today and build resilience for the future. We envision a world where cities and communities take bold action so that people, particularly the most vulnerable, are safer, healthier and more prosperous despite the shocks and stresses of our time.

Founded in 2020, RCC grew out of the 100 Resilient Cities initiative at the Rockefeller Foundation, where our founders worked with 100 cities to hire and train Chief Resilience Officers, develop resilience strategies, and share best practices across a global network. As RCC, we carry that work forward as an independent nonprofit, working directly with city leaders to turn resilience priorities into action on the ground.

We host events that bring together city officials, community leaders and institutions to align on priorities, share knowledge, and build the partnerships that resilience work depends on.
