For 40 years, our organization is best known for its role as the only licensed emergency shelter for youth in Monroe County.

However, we're more than a shelter.

We offer a range of holistic programs and services to support children, young adults, and families who are in need. We provide a safe and nurturing environment for those in crisis, and work to empower young people to overcome the challenges they face.

At the Florida Keys Children's Shelter, we believe that every child and young adult deserves the chance to succeed. Services are free of charge.
