Founded in 1967, Harlem Commonwealth Council (HCC) is a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) dedicated to advancing economic empowerment for Harlem and New York City residents. Through education, entrepreneurship, and equitable access to capital, HCC helps individuals and small businesses build sustainable futures.

Each year, HCC serves thousands through programs in youth development, adult education, and small business support, providing financial tools, technical assistance, and mentorship to inspire growth and stability.
