Downtown Visalians is a vibrant community-based nonprofit founded in 1963 with a mission to preserve, enliven, and promote the heart of Visalia, California. Originating from a dedicated group of downtown merchants, we continue to support and celebrate over 70 locally owned shops, restaurants, art galleries, craft breweries, and entertainment venues. Through collaborative events, marketing campaigns, beautification projects, and gift-check programs, our team fosters a lively and economically thriving downtown district where residents and visitors are always welcome. From the annual Taste of Downtown and Wine Walk to Candy Cane Lane and other festive gatherings, we’re all about creating memorable experiences that unite community, culture, and commerce.
