Black Film Club Collective
Black Film Club Collective (BFCC) is a multidisciplinary cultural agency and film club, based in Chicago, centering Black cinema, storytelling, and collective memory. We design and produce film-centered gatherings—screenings, panels, and community salons—that amplify underrepresented voices, spark dialogue, and foster spaces of joy and imagination.
Rooted in the cultural renaissance of Bronzeville and the spirit of 90s after-school clubs, our work bridges art and impact by curating intentional programming across neighborhoods, from intimate home salons to institutional partnerships. We cultivate collaborations among filmmakers, curators, chefs, and cultural workers to create experiences where film meets fellowship.
Our mission is simple: to uplift Black and BIPOC voices in film, build community through conversation, and use cinema as a tool for cultural strategy and collective futures.
