Village Family Community Resource Center

Village Family Community Resource Center is a Norfolk-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting under-resourced individuals, children, seniors, and families through food access, essential resources, youth leadership, and community engagement.

Through our SAFE Initiative (Safe • Active • Fed • Educated) and LIT – Leaders in Training program, we provide a trusted, welcoming safe haven where families can access quality food, clothing, hygiene essentials, health awareness, financial literacy, and mentorship. Our work is rooted in the belief that it takes a village and guided by our vision, “Continuing What Our Ancestors Started.”

Village Family partners with volunteers, schools, businesses, and community organizations to deliver family-friendly events, youth development opportunities, and culturally inclusive programs that strengthen community connection and improve quality of life across Norfolk and the 757.
