The National Weather Center is a unique building that offers a one-of-a-kind collaborative work environment for approximately 500 research scientists, faculty members, and support staff from federal, state, and academic institutions. These three groups work together to enhance our understanding of Earth's atmosphere, provide accurate and timely forecasts for severe weather, and educate and train the next generation of meteorologists.
