Bio of Pastor Wolf David A. Godwin Sr., BS, MS, BA

Brother Wolf is a distinguished leader in the fields of addiction recovery and mental health counseling, widely recognized for his transformative work across multiple organizations. He is the Founder and Pastor of First Love Unbroken, Inc., Founder and Owner of Mirror Image Apps, LLC, CEO of THATs FYR Productions, LLC, and visionary behind First Love Unbroken Church Pakistan, Redeemed Recovery Community, and The Wolf & the Lamb Talk Radio Show. Through these platforms, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to empowering individuals on their journey from addiction and trauma toward a redeemed lifestyle rooted in healing and purpose. Brother Wolf’s personal journey stands as a powerful testament to resilience and transformation. Having overcome more than 20 years of drug addiction—including cocaine, heroin, and other process addictions—he now serves as a beacon of hope for those struggling with addiction, mental health challenges, and the pursuit of wholeness. His life reflects the reality that true healing is possible through faith, discipline, and intentional change.

A devoted father of seven biological children, two stepchildren, and several adopted children through the First Love Unbroken ministry, Brother Wolf’s passion for restoration extends far beyond his professional work into his personal life and family. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in substance use disorder and chemical dependency, as well as a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Grand Canyon University. He is an active member of leading professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the American Counseling Association (ACA), and the Association of Christians in Health and Human Services (ACHHS), and has been newly appointed to Chaplaincy through LACA. His expertise has been developed through years of hands-on service in both clinical and community-based settings.

Brother Wolf currently serves as a Behavioral Assistant with ABC Therapy and as a mentor to youth and young adults through First Love Unbroken. His work with individuals in the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) system highlights his deep commitment to advocacy, service, and individualized care. With a firm belief in the transformative power of Jesus Christ combined with evidence-based counseling, he continues to guide individuals toward lasting change and restored identity. Through his leadership, innovation, and faith-driven approach, Brother Wolf is reshaping the landscape of mental health and addiction recovery. His mission is to ensure that individuals from all walks of life are supported, encouraged, and empowered to reclaim their identity, purpose, and future. His life’s work stands as a testament to the power of faith in Jesus Christ, coupled with innovation and service, to create meaningful and lasting transformation.
