Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (ΚΑΨ) is a historical fraternity a part of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, founded January 5, 1911. The fraternity has over 160,000 members with 721 undergraduate and alumni chapters in every state of the United States, and international chapters in ten countries.

Locally, the Alexandria (LA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has been a pillar of excellence, service, and brotherhood in the Central Louisiana community for over six decades since its chartering on November 13, 1961. As a dedicated alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., we strive to uphold the fraternity’s core values of achievement, mentorship, and community engagement.

Our chapter actively supports education through scholarships, fosters leadership development, and hosts impactful community service initiatives and social events. From our Black & White Scholarship Ball to voter engagement efforts and Guide Right youth mentorship programs, we remain committed to making a difference.
