Hello my name is Dayanara O. "Shie Love" Villarreal. However, everyone calls me DAY!! I am currently a resident of East Chicago, Indiana but was raised in Hammond. I am a mother of an awesome son and daughter.

I am a Muralist/Artist, Community Leader, Legal Assistant, and Artist Instructor. I've worked a majority of my life in the corporate world and was a longtime member of Sociedad Cultural y Civica La Reforma “SCCLR”. I was also a member of Union Benefica Mexicana "UBM" and currently am involved with Whiting Hispanic Heritage Organization "WHHO".

Art has always been a part of my life since I was a child, but I started painting in 2003. Art and painting bring me peace and offers me an escape from this crazy life. I also donate my artistic ability to promote cultural awareness to our youth. Most of my work is acrylic on canvas and is usually always very colorful and bright. I also very much love ceramics and sculptures. Many of my inspirations come from Frida Khalo. When I create art, my goal is to bring smiles and joy to those who view my art.

And now I offer that same experience to YOU!! I host painting parties whether private or public.
