Shavonne Rice
Shavonne is a devoted servant of Christ, passionate about sharing the transformative power of the Gospel. She currently serves as the Executive Administrative Assistant and as a leader at The Oasis Church FXBG, where she is also a founding member. As a minister, Shavonne is dedicated to growing in her calling and serving the body of Christ with excellence.
Shavonne is a graduate of Liberty University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Religion. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Chaplaincy from Liberty University, equipping herself to minister to diverse communities with biblical wisdom, compassion, and care.
She has been happily married to DeVaughn Rice for 15 years, and together, they are blessed with five beautiful children. As a wife and mother, she is committed to serving her family and reflecting Christ’s love in their home.
Before stepping into ministry, Shavonne faithfully served in the United States Army for 10 years. While her military service instilled in her discipline and resilience, it was her complete surrender to Jesus two years ago that truly transformed her life. In a powerful declaration of faith, she was baptized alongside her two daughters, marking the beginning of an unshakable devotion to Christ. Since that day, she has been on fire for God, passionately walking in obedience to His call.
In 2024, Shavonne launched Tea Time, a ministry birthed from the Holy Spirit’s prompting. Tea Time exists to create a safe and welcoming space for women to share their testimonies, build community, and experience the healing love of Jesus. Through this ministry, she encourages women to embrace their faith boldly and walk in the freedom found in Christ.
In addition to her ministry work, Shavonne is a strong advocate for autism and individuals with disabilities, believing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image and have a unique purpose on the earth. She is passionate about fostering awareness, inclusion, and support for those with disabilities, ensuring that all people experience the love of Christ and are empowered to fulfill their God-given destinies.
Shavonne continues to serve, lead, and inspire. With a heart for discipleship, women’s ministry, and building God’s kingdom, she looks forward to the great work the Lord will continue to do through her.
