My name is Teair Ginlack, founder and owner of Just Like Me Events, a Tampa-based event company dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for children while making a meaningful community impact. Originally from Camden, New Jersey, I relocated to Tampa, Florida. I spent seven years as a licensed esthetician specializing in adult facials and children’s spa parties. Although I loved my work, I chose to retire my practice to pursue a greater purpose—one that aligned my passion for children, community, and creating lasting change.

Just Like Me Events was born after hosting my first children’s royal ball in back in Jersey in March 2024, an experience that quickly evolved into a mission. Partnering with the Children’s Cancer Center of Tampa for our second ball in Tampa, FL, we provided children facing illness and their families the opportunity to attend at no cost and experience joy, inclusion, and magic. Today, guided by our tagline “Bringing hope and healing through celebration,” we donate a portion of event proceeds to local children’s nonprofits, creating joyful moments while easing financial burdens for families. In less than a year, we have welcomed over 600 attendees and continue to grow—committed to expanding our reach and ensuring every child feels seen, celebrated, and cared for.
