Dr. Rolonda Bridgewater is an accomplished educator, leader, researcher, and community advocate with more than three decades of experience in education, fundraising, program development, and organizational leadership. A proud graduate of Alcorn State University, where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees, she later earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Sports Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. As the CEO and Founder of The Science of Bump Set Spike, Inc., Dr. Bridgewater is dedicated to empowering student-athletes through academic support, mentorship, leadership development, and life-skills training that prepare them for success in college and beyond. A Volleyball Hall of Famer, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, a member of The Purple Church Miami, and active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Order of the Eastern Star, the Daughter of Isis, and several civic organizations, she is passionate about creating opportunities that positively impact youth, families, and communities. Her commitment to service, educational excellence, and transformational leadership continues to inspire others and drive meaningful change both on and off the court.
