Cornell AAP's program at the Gensler Family AAP NYC Center (AAP NYC) offers its students the unique opportunity to live and study in New York City, one of the most vital urban centers in the world. Now in its 20th year, the NYC program plays a key role in AAP curriculum, giving the students the chance to study with accomplished practicing architects and planners and engage with complex urban issues.

Programming at the Center includes a full roster of classes as well as field trips, museum visits, neighborhood walking tours, and other activities that tap into NYC's extraordinary cultural and intellectual resources. AAP's extensive alumni network frequently teach and serve as guest lecturers and critics, and participate in portfolio reviews and other networking activities. Our New York program is an option for students pursuing their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.), undergraduate Urban and Regional Studies (B.S. URS), Master of Regional Planning (MRP), Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Master of Architecture (M.Arch), post-professional Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design (MS. AAD), and Master of Architecture and Urban Design (MS.AUD).
