Professional Development Panel: Authenticity in Action

SoSF is excited to partner with EM/POWEREDbyWMN for our upcoming Professional Development Panel on May 29th. EM/POWEREDbyWMN is a community platform dedicated to supporting women in business & giving back to the community. Their online platform offers multiple avenues for female professionals to increase their brand visibility, share their stories, & seek support & inspiration while their in-person events aim to foster genuine relationships, connect local businesses with their communities & raise funds for various causes. KATE:

Kate Ziuz is a self-presentation expert helping women refine their image & presence to achieve their personal & professional goals. Whether it’s a major photoshoot, public speaking engagement, career milestone, or pageant, Kate empowers her clients to look confident, polished, & impactful.

With a background in dance, leadership, & corporate settings, Kate blends movement & strategy to help women enhance their existing confidence & master the art of self-presentation.

Her coaching focuses on refining body language, posing, & presence to align outer image with inner power, ensuring her clients command attention & own any room they enter.

ALENA:

Alena Le Blanc is the Personal Stylist & Founder of Le Blanc Label. With a background in womenswear fashion design, Alena has designed all categories & fabrications of women's clothing. After working in the San Francisco's Bay Area fashion tech industry for lingerie brand Thirdlove, & SF based fashion rental subscription company Le Tote, she was Head of Styling for Bay Area menswear rental company Taelor.

Alena knows the importance of expressing yourself through style. She loves forming amazing relationships with clients & is grateful to use her skills & creativity to help people feel confident in themselves, knowing they are opening an array of possibilities simply by looking & feeling their best.

KRYSTAL:

Krystal Jugarap is the Founder of BOOKofBIJOUX and EM/POWEREDbyWMN. She is an international award-winning speaker, writer, podcast host, philanthropist, self-proclaimed community hypewoman, and most importantly, momma to 2 little girls and a baby boy.

Through the EM/POWEREDbyWMN platform, she has cultivated a community that continues to uplift women in entrepreneurship through vendor fairs, networking events, annual summits, the EM/POWEREDbyWMN podcast, their online Woman Owned Small Business Directory which now highlights more than 100 woman-owned brands, and so much more. Their community is all about creating spaces for visibility, connection, and shared resources and Krystal’s mission is really to remind women and future generations that they are not only capable but so worthy of creating lives and businesses they love.
