Organisateur de Summer Walks 2025
Walthamstow Historical Society has been uncovering and sharing the stories of our neighbourhood for more than a century.Founded as the Walthamstow Antiquarian Society in 1914, we bring together people who are curious about the history of the place they live, work and visit. Through talks, guided walks, publications, exhibitions and research, we explore the people, places and events that have shaped Walthamstow across the centuries. Our members have helped preserve local heritage, played an important role in the creation of Vestry House Museum and the William Morris Gallery, and continue to discover and record new aspects of Walthamstow's remarkable past.Whether you're a lifelong resident, new to the area or simply interested in London's history, you'll find a warm welcome.Follow us on Eventbrite to hear about our programme of guided walks, talks and special events—and discover the hidden histories that make Walthamstow unique.
