The Minnesota Center for Systemic Constellations was founded by Michael McElwee, Ph.D. (deceased), and Katherine Curran, Ph.D., in the spring of 2018 as a public benefit corporation. Our purpose is to nurture the evolution of human consciousness toward compassion and wholeness.Bio: Katherine Curran, Ph.D., Co-FounderKatherine Curran, Ph.D., is a co-founder of the Minnesota Center for Systemic Constellations. She has been an organization development consultant, executive coach, adjunct professor of leadership for St. Catherine University, where she taught on the graduate level for fifteen years, and constellation facilitator. and trainer. Katherine has been trained in constellation facilitation by Dan Cohen, Ph.D., and Emily Blefeld, LICSW; by Bertold Ulsamer, JD, Ph.D., for Trauma Constellations; and by Jan Jacob Stam and Bibi Schreuder for Organizational Constellations in Groningen, the Netherlands. She was a program committee member for the 2021 North American Systemic Constellations Conference in Boulder, Co, served in the same capacity for the 2017 NASC Conference in Virginia Beach, VA, and has attended Constellation Intensive trainings in Bernried, Germany; Sydney, Australia; the North American Constellation Intensive (3x) in Hartford, CT and an ISCA Conference in Zagreb, Croatia. She is a 2021 graduate of the Living School for Action and Contemplation at the Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, NM, a student of A Course in Miracles, and a former rebirther. Earlier education includes 2.5 years of training in Gestalt group process from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, large-scale change methodology from Dannemiller/Tyson Assoc., and a doctorate in Human and Organizational Systems and an evidence-based coaching certificate, both from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA. She graduated with highest honors from St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN with a B.A. in Religious Studies.In her OD and coaching practice, in the private sector, a partial list of clients includes 3M Company, Medtronic, Delta Air Lines, Cargill, Land O’ Lakes, Hasbro, Boston Scientific and H.B. Fuller Co. In healthcare she has consulted with Allina Hospitals and Clinics, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, Catholic Eldercare and M Health. She has worked with all levels of US government, from city and county, to state and federal government. She has also done extensive consulting with universities and colleges, non-profits, including Minnesota Public Radio, small high technology start ups, and European based corporations.
