Science Gallery Atlanta’s purpose is to create multi-dimensional experiences that foster a dynamic new model for community engagement focused on imagination, innovation, and participation. We serve as a unique community learning center, bringing complex global issues to the forefront of conversation amongst our community and transitional-aged youth (15-30-year-olds) using exhibits and programs at the intersection of art and science. Through multidisciplinary collaborations between visual, performance, and media arts and fields ranging from public health, biology, theology, physics, sociology, economics and beyond, Science Gallery Atlanta at Emory University seeks to explore universal themes that impact our communities right here in Atlanta and, through our work, inform global discourse.
