Our format is simple, we meet once a month to discuss a book and enjoy a bottomless brunch. Our discussions are held online the morning of our event and to really get our critical teeth stuck in we run through a selection of pre-prepared questions. Every member’s view is welcomed, valued and heard. Think of it as our literary pre-drinks. It’s then onto brunch at one of London’s many hotspots. Whether you’re here for the recommendations, the discussions, or the sense of community, you are more than welcome.However, our monthly in-person brunch events are exclusively for the girls, gays, and theys — meaning women (cis and trans), non-binary people, and LGBTQ+ members. If you identify as one of these, we’ll see you at brunch soon! This isn’t about exclusion; it’s about ensuring a space where attendees can fully relax, connect, and engage in conversation without the dynamics that often shift in the presence of straight, cis-gendered men. Our brunches have naturally evolved into a space where our members feel safest and most at ease, and we’re committed to preserving that.That said, if you don’t fit into this specific brunch crowd, you’re still very much part of our book-loving community! You’re welcome to join our online discussions and special events that take place throughout the year.
