It was in Puerto Rico, where Abdiel was introduced to theatre from a cultural lens, working with local theatrical, dance, events, film, and television artistic companies. In the last 15+years Abdiel has collaborated for companies domestically around United States, Puerto Rico and expanding internationally. Excited to be in San Francisco collaborating with artists who centers diverse and queer narratives.Traveling the world, Abdiel gained global experiences related to the history, foundation, and implications of fashion, costume making, design and theatre that serve as the inspiration for his lifelong commitment to teaching, creating, building, and transforming in community.Follow @abdielcreates and @sewcuir
