Drexel University's Department of Public Safetytakes a holistic, community-oriented approach to providing preventive and protective services to the Drexel University community. We strive to enhance the quality of life on our campuses (University City, Center City and Queen Lane) by integrating the best practices of modern public and private security, law enforcement and fire safety.Police and security forces provide a highly visible presence around the clock in buildings and public spaces. The Department offers safety and awareness trainings and resources to members of the Drexel community. Understanding the importance of community partnerships, the Department has well-established relationships with many public and private institutions.
