Amy Rutherford - Studio PotterAmy is a studio potter based near Newcastle upon Tyne. She graduated from the University of Sunderland with a first-class honours degree in Glass and Ceramics and has since established her own independent ceramics studio.Working primarily with stoneware and porcelain, Amy creates wheel-thrown pieces that are both functional and beautiful. She places a high value on craftsmanship, sustainability, and heritage, striving to reflect these principles in her work.Amy is passionate about sharing the joy of clay with others and offers workshops to help people discover their own creative potential.
