Organizer of ONLINE PRESENTATIONS
Debra Klomp Ching is the co-owner of theKlompching Gallery. In addition to owning and operating the gallery, she is a freelance consultant, writer, curator and educator. Her writing has been published in several publications, including being a guest editor for Photography Quarterly (issue No. 99) and the commissioning editor/publisher of (re)collect - Jonathan Shaw (2006). In 2010 she co-curated The Architecture of Space, an exhibition of contemporary U.S. photography for the Flash Forward Festival (Toronto). She is a regular judge for photography awards and competitions, including the LensCulture Emerging Talent Award (2017), San Francisco Bay International Photography Show(2018), the Arnold Newman Portrait Award (2018), and is the co-founder of the Rhonda Wilson Award. Since 2014, she has been an Adjunct Faculty member of the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York CityFor photographers, she offers 25+ years experience working across the arts industry; providing expertise, insight and advice to fine art photographers developing their creative careers. She has worked across the fields of education and the non-profit sectors, but most importantly she has 13+ years experience as a successful gallery owner and art dealer. The webinars presented by Debra Klomp Ching, are informed by this expansive work and life experience.
