Maria Hormaza's Beading Classes

Artisans is a non-profit co-op gallery of over 30 Central Florida artists, showcasing a wide range of handcrafted mediums. We are located in historic Mount Dora Florida, ranked as one of the top 20 towns to visit in the USA. Every year Artisans launches our fundraiser in August to raise money to fund low or no cost diagnostic breast cancer testing for Lake County residents. This effort culminates in October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a month long event hosted by Artisans.Since 2012, Artisan has donated $54,732.96 to the AdventHealth Waterman Foundation. Our 2019 fundraiser donated $7,601 to the Foundation. Artisans donates 100% of Bra-Vo net proceeds to the Foundation and demonstrates what a caring community of businesses, merchants, students, artists and everyday citizens can accomplish together.The purpose of Artisans is: to promote local, emerging artists in both high-quality retail and online environments; to encourage future artists through an educational scholarship fund; to support local charitable causes in the community it serves; and to enhance art appreciation among visitors and residents of Central Florida.In August 2021 we began to offer classes in our shop. We will have small classes that will provide personalized teaching by our talented instructors, many of whom are members of Artisans.
