Humainologie is a not for profit charity based in Calgary, Alberta. We centre and celebrate emerging creatives and day-to-day change agents who have experienced systemic barriers because of their race, colour, gender, sexuality and/or ability. We exist to contribute to their uprising. Through storytelling, events, and individual support, we aim to share their stories, amplify their unique contributions to the world, and celebrate their whole humanity. Humainologie has produced close to 40 short films since 2015 and has received over 20 film festival selections and about a dozen awards internationally. Current funders include Calgary Arts Development, the Government of Alberta, Dr. Arthur Clark and the Estate of the Late Dr. Irma Parhad.
