Empathy Week 2022

Humainologie is a not for profit charity based in Calgary, Alberta. We centre​ and celebrate emerging creatives and day-to-day change agents who have experienced systemic barriers because of their race, colour, gender, sexuality and/or ability. We exist to contribute to their uprising. Through storytelling, events, and individual support, we aim to share their stories, amplify their unique contributions to the world, and celebrate their whole humanity.⁠ Humainologie has produced close to 40 short films since 2015 and has received over 20 film festival selections and about a dozen awards internationally. Current funders include Calgary Arts Development, the Government of Alberta, Dr. Arthur Clark and the Estate of the Late Dr. Irma Parhad.
