Door County Underground offers our signature five course farm dinners.Menus showcase organic ingredients grown and foraged on the Door Peninsula and around Wisconsin. We curate a unique dining experience that draws you back to the root of the food, in tune with the seasons and growing cycles, connecting the processes of seed to soil and plate to happy belly.

Join us for an intimate, multi course dinner at Woodwalk Gallery.  
An evening in this beautiful gallery barn will have us moving around within the curated spaces as the courses progress. This setting offers its own mystique; the cream city brick farm house, sculpture garden, gallery wing of artists' work on display, an array of inspiring rustic decor, vine draped silos, and a sunflower labryinth in late summer.
The dinner will showcase local organic farmed & foraged ingredients from around the Door peninsula and Wisconsin. 
Beverages are not included in the dinner price, available on site.

All locations are handicap accesible.  Some paths are dirt, mulch, or grass. 

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Everyone is welcome. There are no age restrictions or requirements.  
This is a limited seating event, all seats are priced equally. 
 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
This dinner will be at Woodwalk Gallery, located at 6746 Cty G, Egg Harbor, WI.
The farm is 9 miles north of Sturgeon Bay, 5 miles south of Egg Harbor.
Take Hwy 42 to between Egg Harbor and Carlsville, turning on Cty G (across from Plum Bottom Rd.)
Follow Cty G a half mile in from 42.  The entrance will bring you right up to parking.  

Are drinks included?
Drinks are not included in dinner price, choices are available on site.

Join us for a limited seating, incredibly intimate eight course tasting menu at Hidden Acres Farm.
We will be showcasing the peninsula's local organic flavors & seasonal bounty.  
Each tasting dinner will feature DCU partnering with a local guest chef/creator to design playful, experimental courses, going even further outside the box of your usual dining experience.  When chefs are really allowed to play with your food, here's what happens.  Its bound to be a little wild, a little unleashed, definitely interesting, and all sorts of delicious.  The guest chef will be featured on two of the eight courses.
Come enjoy the beautiful open concept kitchen dining room at the farm.  This unique ambiance features views of the choreography of the kitchen, the surrounding hardwood forest, and the root garden.  We will walk you through the courses as they come out, menus are announced within one week of each tasting dinner.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The farm dinners take place at Hidden Acres Farm, located at 11128 Beach Rd, Sister Bay, WI. 
Follow Hwy 42 north toward Ellison Bay, turning left on Wildwood Rd. 
The parking entrance is the last left on Wildwood Road, before the intersection with Beach Rd.
After parking, follow the signs up the mulch path. You will pass the root garden on your left and come straight up into the Dining Room Kitchen (the building farthest back from the Beach Rd. community garden entrance).
Look for signs & lights to guide you. 

Are drinks included?
N/A beverage pairings are included with the dinner. 
Wine is on available site, sold seperately. 

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?  
Everyone is welcome. There are no age restrictions or requirements.
Wisconsin Alcohol laws comply.
This is a limited seating event, all seats are priced equally.

Is the farm handicap accessible?
Yes, the farm kitchen/dining room is accessible.  
Some walkways are mulch, dirt, & farm rustic. 
Closer proximity handicap parking can be made available behind the barn on Beach Rd.  
Let us know if needed so we can prepare for you.  Otherwise the parking lot is a short walk down a mulch path to get to the dining room/kitchen.
