Pretty Green Terrariums host various plant-themed workshop events at our 1116 South St Storefront!! Our Bioactive Terrarium workshops are the most popular, 2-hour BYOB event, including all the materials to make a one-gallon terrarium. Bioactive means they look and act like nature; we add organisms such as isopods, springtails, bacteria, and fungi to mimic as many natural processes as possible to make a natural ecosystem that lasts for years, if not decades. You will learn how to make a self-sustaining terrarium and the basic ecological science that allows your terrarium to function as its solitary ecosystem! It only needs water once a year!Can't make it to the event?We also offer private workshops for $95 with a limit of 5 people. Appointment times are flexible; we are happy to work with your schedule!
